MOKAHUM CHAPEL

Cass Lake, Minnesota

This church is situated on the Leech Lake Reservation in northern Minnesota, and is in the heart of where much of the history of Alliance Indian work is found. After the Mokahum Indian Bible School was closed, five acres of that land was donated to the church so church ministry could continue. The church began in the late 1970's, and continues today to be church with great potential for extending its ministry all throughout this needy reservation, and to the other Ojibwe communities in the region.
