NAVAJO MOUNTAIN ALLIANCE CHURCH
Tonalea, Arizona
Situated against the backdrop of the beautiful remote Navajo Mountain, this church began in the 1950's when pioneer missionaries Glen & Louise Hurd started the work. From there, a church compound complete with sanctuary, educational buildings, brush arbor, and workshops were constructed. In the 1970's revival came to Navajo Mountain and the church grew to over 200 members. From that revival, Navajo Mountain was strategically responsible for the other Navajo Alliance churches being planted.
