There are four churches with people going through 8 week classes in Cleansing Stream. Kayenta, Shonto, Tuba City, Cameron. Pray for the people that they would be drawn to Jesus and want more of Him in their lives. We pray they would continue with the 8 week classes and then the retreat in Pagosa Springs Oct 19 & 20. In Tuba City there were two classes one in the morning and one in the afternoon approximately 60 people. There will be a class in Tuba City on Tuesday evenings. There is a goal to have 100 people attend the retreat from this area of the reservation. The class in Shonto meets Wednesday evenings. Jesus not only provides salvation but also deliverance, restoration and healing. It is all about breaking down strongholds and having victory with more of Jesus. Prayer plays such a strong part in all this. www.cleansingstream.org Pray for the Native Association Executive Committee members--that God would give them clear direction and vison for strengthening and encouraging existing Native works in the C&MA, assisting with the expansion of ministry in Native communities through evangelism and church planting, and working with other Native ministries to advance the Gospel among the Native people of North America.
Pray for spiritual maturity for Native ministries across the country--that they would be able to stand strong against false teachings that threaten the integrity of the Gospel and hinder the fruitfulness of Native churches and ministries. Pray for strong Native pastors and teachers who can lead Native churches to maturity--strong in faith, sound in doctrine and practice, and effective and fruitful in ministry.
